When I was at LHM we were approached to build a new way for the public to review Health and Social Care services independently. The data would also improve the resource of Healthwatch and their partners through a business intelligence dashboard for real-time alerts, patterns and trends. The website features a strong call to action for the public to rate and review their local Health and Social care services, and can be accessed from desktop, tablet or smart phone.
We aimed to provide the public the same tools they would use to review brands, products and services online. The process had to be simple, ask the right questions to engage effectively and support comprehensive database of institutions and organisations for easy rate and review.
The Feedback Centre helped to engage the public, contributing independent data to Healthwatch to improve resources; provided cost savings and improved response to safeguarding issues locally.
The Facebook application is based off the product idea and but enables the user to leave their review without visiting the website.
Feedback and experiences can be added directly to the Healthwatch database directly through Facebook. The app can also be shared with friends, promoting the organisation at the same time.
